Asian Le Mans Series
Asian Le Mans Series (ALMS) is one of steps on the ladder to battle at the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
Winning an LM P3 category gives you entry to race 24h of Le Mans in a LMP2 car. It also gives you
entry to race in the GT3 and LM P3 Endurance support race for 24 hours Le Mans.
Asian Le Mans have a new format for 2016/17 season introducing Le Mans Sprint Cup (LMSC) series at
Sepang F1 Circuit.
The aim of these championships is to enable teams, drivers and constructors to learn the specific aspects of endurance racing before moving up to the top level, the FIA World Endurance Championship. At the summit of the pyramid is the Le Mans 24 Hours, the blue ribbon event in the FIA World Endurance Championship, in which all the participants in the different endurance series hope to take part and dream of winning!
Asian Le Mans Series format:
-Four race weekends
-Friday unofficial practice
-2 Official Practice 2x90’
-Three hour race minimum
-Two races together with World Endurance Championship
-Three drivers maximum
