Zhuhai International Circuit ZIC
The track first was first designed by Chinatrack Consultant Ltd., a consortium that includes Halliburton KBR Australia
[which designed and was involved with project management of the Adelaide Formula 1 Circuit].
With the approval of the F.I.A. (FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE L'AUTOMOBILE), the ZIC was the first Formula 1 standard track in China. It is comprised of 14 turns, with a longest straight of 900 m on which certain race cars are capable of reaching a speed of over 300 km/h.
